BIG (Queer) Night

Every spring, when the ground has thawed, the rain has started, and nighttime temperatures maintain above freezing, frogs and salamanders all throughout North America begin their migration to their breeding grounds called vernal pools. Join Queerly ME as we participate in BIG Night, an annual community science project where scientists and volunteers partner to collect data on amphibian migration. We will learn how to identify different salamanders and frogs, count the number of amphibians we see, and help save amphibian lives!

Location will be provided to those who complete registration! This gathering is LGBTQIA+ centered and allies are welcome.
