Why is it so hard to build community? It’s not you. Connection driven spaces have been in rapid decline as far back as the 50s. National trends for social connection show loneliness is increasing and social engagement is decreasing. Our mental health, physical health, and society are directly and significantly impacted.
Join Queerly ME and Electric Cottage Collective for a community training on the decline of community spaces, the public health crisis of loneliness & isolation, and how we can collectively revitalize opportunities for affirming, inclusive social connection to improve societal well-being.
Suggested donation for this training is $35.00 to $50.00. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Your donation goes to support Queerly ME's mission to foster strong support networks and community belonging for LGBTQIA+ adults in all 16 counties of Maine. We are grateful for your support!
Can’t make this one? Check out our training at Stone Broke Bread & Books October 17th or at Coffee By Design on October 22nd!
