What does it mean to be Queer in a climate changed world? To be Queer is to often be at odds with mainstream narratives of being. The natural world reflects Queerness back to us—wildlife and its ecosystems constantly challenge heteronormative and binary ideology imposed by humans. As we witness environmental disasters and anti-LGBTQIA+ rhetoric increase in parallel, how do we navigate the world around us? Where do we find respite? How do we maintain hope as the world burns around us? Queerness In A Climate Changed World explores the unique experiences Queer people face in the climate crisis through storytelling and guided community conversations.

Join us for storytelling and guided community conversations from 12:00PM - 3:00PM on November 14th. The sliding scale for this program is $25 to $100 pending individual financial capacity. Accessibility: flat, loose dirt around the parking area leads up to the main building. There is a ramp into the building, although the incline is not ADA compliant due to incline. There are accessible bathrooms on site. Masks are offered on site, but not required.
