Queerly ME offers the following programs:

Queerly ME is committed to offering programs without a strict financial barrier to participation. We also recognize that participant contributions support the sustainability of our programs and our efforts to grow as the only LGBTQIA+ led organization present in all 16 counties of Maine annually.

If the sliding scale of a program is beyond your financial capacity, reach out to info@queerlyme.org. We are always willing to work with you to ensure you have access to the community spaces we create.

In an effort to consistently offer a no-cost option, our Trail Mixers will always be no-cost to participants.

Programs On A Sliding Scale

Trail Mixers:

Queerly ME’s Flagship Program

Trail Mixers are casual, connection centered trail walks, and our flagship program. Trail Mixers began in 2022 through an intentional collaboration between Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust's Lydia Coburn and Queerly ME's Kyle Warnock. Since then, over 600 LGBTQIA+ community members have found connection with nature and one another on these seasonal walks at various Brunswick-Topsham area properties. We're delighted that the Trail Mixer model has now expanded to other partnerships and natural spaces across Maine.

What makes Trail Mixers so special? Periodically during our walk, we introduce lighthearted conversation starters to the group by asking a volunteer to pick a question from a curated deck of cards. Each time a conversation starter is introduced, we encourage participants to “mix it up” and find a new person to talk to. Trail Mixers facilitate new connections and conversations, and have help participants build support networks from the ground up!
