Skowhegan Trail Mixer

Join Queerly ME for a Trail Mixer in Skowhegan on Sunday November 8th from 1PM to 2:15PM! The exact location will be disclosed within a week of the program date to those who register.

Trail Mixers are casual, connection centered trail walks for LGBTQIA+ folks and allies, and Queerly ME's flagship day program. Periodically during our walk, we will propose conversation prompts to participants. Each time a conversation prompt is introduced, we encourage participants to “mix it up” and find a new person to talk to. These walks help participants build support networks from the ground up!

Accessibility: The trail we will walk is roughly 1 mile. There is one short and steep downhill at the beginning of the trail and a few steep hills at the very end. Otherwise, the trail is made up of mostly flat forest floor, and passes along the woods and water. There are sections with roots and rocks, but the path is wide enough to maneuver around them in most wheelchairs. For a more in-depth accessibility description, reach out to info@queerlyme.org.
